3. Cooking Instructions for Moringa Noodles
Step 1: Bring a pot of water to a boil, add an adequate amount of water (ideally 1 liter for every 100 grams of noodles), and start boiling. It’s recommended to use a wide-bottomed pot to prevent the noodles from sticking together.
When the water begins to boil, add a teaspoon of salt and two teaspoons of cooking oil or olive oil to the pot, then stir well to add flavor and prevent the noodles from sticking together.
Step 2: As the water boils vigorously, add the noodles to the pot and fan them out to prevent sticking. Maintain a high heat to ensure even boiling. Avoid breaking or bending the noodles too much to prevent them from breaking. After 30 seconds to 1 minute, the noodles will gradually soften and submerge in the water.
Gently stir the noodles in the pot using chopsticks or a food clip to prevent them from sticking together.
Step 3: Boil for approximately 6 – 8 minutes, then check whether the noodles are cooked. Once they’re done, remove the noodles, rinse them with regular water, and let them drain. Remember not to overcook the noodles, as it may affect their texture.
Step 4: Your noodles are now cooked. You can now prepare delicious and authentic noodle dishes right at home!
